Using Elune's Light to properly counter Cordana's abilities is key to successfully defeating her.
Tanks
• Detonating Moonglaive causes you to take increased Physical damage. • Deepening Shadows continue to spread across the platform unless destroyed by Elune's Light. • Creeping Doom's spirits are invisible unless revealed by Elune's Light. • Quickly gain threat on Avatars of Vengeance that are revealed by Elune's Light.
Healers
• Detonating Moonglaive causes victims caught in its blast to take increased Physical damage. • Deepening Shadows continue to spread across the platform unless destroyed by Elune's Light. • Creeping Doom's spirits are invisible unless revealed by Elune's Light. • Avatars of Vengeance continually target members of your party at random with their damaging abilities.
Damage Dealers
• Enemies revealed by Elune's Light take 10% more damage. • Deepening Shadows continue to spread across the platform unless destroyed by Elune's Light. • Creeping Doom's spirits are invisible unless revealed by Elune's Light. • Avatars of Vengeance must be revealed by Elune's Light, turning them into dangerous melee attackers.

Elune's Light can be acquired from the Glowing Sentry on Illidan's platform, and can be picked up during the encounter when it is removed by Cordana's various abilities.

When Cordana Shadowsteps away, an Avatar of Shadow is summoned. The Avatar of Shadow will steal Elune's Light, disabling the light until the Avatar of Shadow is defeated.
