The Darkness
Official Overview (Blizzard)
The Darkness enwreathes the area in smothering shadows, reducing combat abilities of anyone without a light source. It uses a variety of Shadow attacks to devour its foes and weaken the light.
Tanks
• Players without Candlelight suffer the debilitating effects of Smothering Shadows. • Umbral Slash and Shadowblast will both damage the light if they strike it.
Damage Dealers
• Players without Candlelight suffer the debilitating effects of Smothering Shadows. • The Darkness uses Call Darkspawn, which approach the light and cast Drain Light. • Umbral Slash and Shadowblast will both damage the light if they strike it.
Healers
• Players without Candlelight suffer the debilitating effects of Smothering Shadows. • Umbral Slash and Shadowblast will both damage the light if they strike it.
